1. Keep the right company. The people you spend time with can have a big impact on your habits. If you’re surrounded by people who have bad habits, it’s more likely that you’ll develop those habits yourself. Make an effort to spend time with people who have good habits and who support you in your goals.

Ensure your environment supports your new goal. for example if possible do not spend a lot of time alone. Do not go to entertainment spots where you will have access to nudity.

2. Have a Big Hairy Audacious Goal (BHAG). A BHAG is a big, inspiring goal that motivates you to take action. When you have a BHAG, it’s easier to resist bad habits because you know that they will derail your progress. For example, if your BHAG is to lose 100 pounds, you’re less likely to eat unhealthy foods or skip workouts.

Read some books and podcasts on how you can achieve your BHAG in less than 5 years.

3.  Restrict access to pornographic material. Pornography is a highly addictive habit that can be very difficult to break. If you’re struggling with pornography addiction, it’s important to remove all temptation from your environment. This includes blocking pornographic websites on your computer and phone and avoiding situations where you might be exposed to pornography.

4. Learn some new skills and hobbies. Learning new things can help you to break bad habits by keeping you busy and engaged. It also gives you something to look forward to each day. When you’re feeling bored or restless, you’re less likely to turn to bad habits.

5. Go out in the real world and date. Practice being rejected and learn what a potential mate wants in a partner and be that. It begins with simple things like grooming well, dressing well, and being physically, mentally, and emotionally healthy.** Dating can help you to get rid of bad habits by forcing you to step outside of your comfort zone and interact with new people. It also gives you a sense of purpose and direction. When you’re dating someone, you’re more likely to want to be the best version of yourself.

6. Practice meditation. Meditation can help you to become more aware of your thoughts and feelings. This is important because it allows you to identify the triggers that lead to your bad habits. Once you know what your triggers are, you can develop strategies for avoiding them.

7. Practice some kind of fasting. Or eliminate some items from your diet say Sugar or wheat. Fasting can help you to develop self-discipline and willpower. It can also help you to become more aware of your body’s needs. When you’re fasting, you’re more likely to listen to your body and avoid foods that are bad for you, and this exercise translates in how you control your sexual urges.
