How do you know if your phone gadget is genuine?
The Identification number or IMEI
A genuine phone has an identification number known as IMEI which should be 15 digits only.
Dial *#06# to check the IMEI number of your phone.
On the iPhone, check the IMEI/MEID on the SIM tray.
Spelling of the model name
Fake phones or counterfeit gadgets including phones are usually branded with misspelled names of popular brands. The trick usually is replacing of some letters in the name to make the difference unnoticeable. For instance Samsvng, Nokla etc
Internet settings
Fake phones do not accept data or internet settings remotely. Even if they do, they lose them after a while.
