How to Apply for Kenya Power Connection Online

In an effort to improve service delivery Kenya Power now has enabled application of power connection online. This means you no longer need to visit the Kenya power office to get connected to the power grid.

The process is easy and will not take you more than twenty minutes if you have all the info and docs in soft copy ready.

Required

  • ID –Passport, national ID or certificate of registration
  • PIN certificate in soft copy

There are five options to choose from depending of what kind of connection you need i.e.

New supply, Additional supply, Meter separation, Re-routing and Temporary Supply.

Procedure

Go to the Kenya power site http://www.kenyapower.co.ke/online-application/

Here choose the type of supply you need from the five above. There are five tabs for each.

Choose the type of applicant from the drop down menu i.e. individual or corporate applicant.

Pick the type of connection you need i.e. single phase underground, single phase overhead,

Three phase overhead, three phase underground or direct

The rest of the form needs the following details

Individual details-Names

Pin certificate details

Contact details

Identification details

Supply location data

Power data –number of meters required

Any appliances or machines to be used

Once all the details have been filled click submit tab and your application will be sent to Kenya power for action.

    hear in Nakuru county area lanet village. ndege near mereroni primary what we just request is the KPLC company is for them to add another transformer and more post so that we can install token please help on that
